Clashindarroch Hill Climb, Sunday 26th May, British Championship

This year's Clashindarroch Hill Climb is the British Championship, BRSS Race 3 and Scottish Series Race 2. Compeitors will race on brand new, matched, classic roller skis (Swenor Alutech) supplied by the organisers. Remember to bring your own boots and poles.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MIDNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY 22 MAY.
REGISTRATION IS ONLINE ONLY, THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATIONS ON THE DAY.
Entry fees: U18 £9
ADULT £15
Entry fee includes an online processing fee.

Timetable

08:30 Meet and collect race bibs on recreation field in Rhynie (by the Church) - see link to map below
09.20 A shuttle service will take skiers to the beginning of the short race
09:45 First time trial starts (both races)

Two race distances:
- 8.05 km for adults & Youth (U16 and U18 only).
- 4.85 km for Junior Youth (U12 and U14) & adults (or 14-17 yr olds) who choose to ski the shorter distance.

General provisions
​

30sec interval start.

Minimum age 11 on the day.

Skiers U14 (born 2010-11) and U12 (born 2012 or later) can only race the short distance.

No warming up or practising on the road at either start area.

Race not suitable for novices. Skiers must be competent to roller ski on a public road.

Minimum safety equipment: helmet and glasses. Gloves and knee/elbow pads are optional.

All competitors agree to the Race Committee being the final arbitrators of any dispute.

The organisers reserve the right to adjust the programme to suit entries and conditions.
